He was then asked to share his thoughts on the figure, to which the attacking midfielder replied: "Bit dear." Then he was asked whether everyone should have him in their team, to which he answered: "If they want points." He was further pushed on whether he could guarantee goals and assists, to which Palmer replied: "We'll see, won't we?"

Palmer saw a sudden dip in his goal-scoring form in the second half of the 2024-25 campaign. The England international ended up with 15 Premier League goals in the end, as Chelsea secured a Champions League berth. In the Club World Cup, though, Palmer returned to his very best and starred in the final with a brace as the Blues thrashed Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 to clinch their second trophy of the season.
