Everton fans have been reacting after Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, surprisingly reported that Alisher Usmanov was involved in the discussions with potential new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, says that there was a decisive meeting in London between all of the parties on Monday, with Usmanov described as a friend to Moshiri, who was instrumental in the positive talks to bring the 60-year-old to Goodison Park.
The Uzbekistan-born Russia businessman sold his stake in Arsenal last summer and is worth £11.3bn according to The Sunday Times’ 2019 rich list, and his latest involvement with the Merseyside outfit – as well as Guillem Balague’s extraordinary claim that Ancelotti will be in the top three highest-paid managers in Europe – will only fuel the fire that the billionaire is going to soon invest in the Toffees.

Others were simply delighted that the potential exciting appointment of Ancelotti as Marco Silva’s successor could be followed by the news that Usmanov is investing in the club.
Finally, another suggests that the 66-year-old was present at the meeting to assure Ancelotti that money is coming for him to spend.
