Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez starred in his side’s 2-2 draw against Manchester United at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, and Tottenham fans have urged their club to sign the Algeria international.
The 2015/16 PFA Player of the Year wasn’t at this best last season and at the beginning of the current campaign under former boss Craig Shakespeare, but he has certainly been on form since the appointment of Claude Puel as the Foxes’ new manager in October.
The 26-year-old has scored five goals and provided a further six assists, including one for Jamie Vardy’s strike against the Red Devils on Saturday, in 19 Premier League appearances this term.
Tottenham supporters were quick to have their say on his display via social media, and while one said “would love him at Spurs”, another urged the club to “offer £50m for Mahrez and be done with it”.
