Lucas Moura made his Tottenham Hotspur debut on Tuesday night in the team’s Champions League last-16 first leg against Juventus.
The Brazilian joined the North London outfit from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day in January.
Moura has been made to wait for game time, but in Turin, manager Mauricio Pochettino brought the winger off the bench.
The 25-year-old entered the field of play for the final five minutes of a thrilling encounter.
Tottenham had to claw their way back after a horror opening 10 minutes, in which they conceded two goals from Gonzalo Higuain, one strike being from the penalty spot.
The Premier League club managed to regroup, though, and thanks to goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen, Tottenham nabbed a 2-2 draw and two away goals.
Supporters got a glimpse of Moura’s ability in Turin as he linked up well with his teammates and did not shy away from a challenge.
As the games go by, fans are going to learn much more about the former Sao Paulo star, but so far they like what they see.
