Steven Naismith represented Everton between 2012 and 2016, and scored 25 times in 123 appearances for the Merseyside outfit in all competitions.
It would be fair to say that the Everton fans took to Naismith due to his all-action performances, whilst his commitment to the cause could never be questioned.
Naismith moved on to Norwich City in January 2016, but is currently on loan at Hearts in the Scottish Championship.
The 31-year-old was on the scoresheet for Scotland in their 2-0 win over Albania in the UEFA Nations League on September 10.
And he has also been in wonderful form for Hearts this term, scoring seven times and registering three assists in eight appearances in all competitions.

Naismith’s form has been key to Hearts sitting top of the Scottish Premiership after four matches, and the Everton fans now want to see him back at Goodison Park.
It seems unlikely that Naismith would be high on Everton boss Marco Silva’s wishlist, but the Merseyside club’s supporters are desperate for his return.
