According to The Athletic reporter Gregg Evans, Aston Villa want to sign a winger in the January transfer window.
Evans, who was speaking on The Villa View Podcast, also claimed that the club had been heavily scouting Villarreal this season as they consider their options.
All things considered, it has been a decent start to the 2019/20 campaign for Villa, who currently sit 15th in the Premier League table with 11 points.

Dean Smith’s side have won three, drawn two and lost five of their 10 matches thus far, including a 3-0 defeat at Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

According to Evans, a new winger rather than a striker will be targeted by Smith’s team in the middle of the season.
