Lancashire County Cricket Club has completed the signing of Iain Sutcliffe,
the former Leicestershire batsman, who had spent eight years with the
county

the former Leicestershire batsman, who had spent eight years with the
county.Left handed batsman Sutcliffe, 27, commented, "I am delighted to be joining
Lancashire and look forward to being part of the Club’s promising future. I
have ambition to win competitions and to play the game at the highest level
possible and hopefully my performances will help these to happen."Cricket Manager Mike Watkinson stated, "Iain will provide our batting line
up with additional depth and quality along with the variation of being left
handed. I am especially impressed by his attitude and he should fit into
the squad very well." he added, "As previously stated, the future of the
Club lies with our youth policy, however, gaps in batting resources have
lead us to look at quality replacements from outside the county."With a run tally of almost 6,000 in first-class cricket, Sutcliffe has a
batting average of 32.58 and a highest score of 203.
